    • The overlap between GI symptoms and eating disorders

Our team stays up to date with cutting-edge digestive health research and has trained with leading experts, including Kate Scarlata, RD, MPH and Tamara Duker Freuman, MS, RD.

While the Low FODMAP Diet is an evidence-based option for managing IBS, we know it isn’t the right fit for everyone. That’s why we work collaboratively with each client to find the most effective and sustainable strategies for their unique needs—whether it’s using dietary interventions, lifestyle modifications, or other tools to reduce symptoms.

  • We believe that every person deserves a peaceful, balanced relationship with food and their body. Using the principles of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size®, we provide individualized support for:

    • Eating Disorder Recovery (AN, BN, BED, OSFED, ARFID)

    • Disordered Eating & Chronic Dieting

    • Healing from Food Anxiety & Restriction

    • Rebuilding Trust in Your Body

We recognize that your relationship with food is shaped by culture, family, diet trends, and social messaging. Our goal is to help you break free from harmful patterns and develop a nourishing, sustainable approach to eating that works for you.

We also specialize in addressing the unique overlap between eating disorders and digestive health concerns, providing the care and expertise needed to navigate these complex cases with confidence and clarity.

  • Our nutrition counseling sessions offer a safe and private space to discuss your concerns, whether it be digestive symptoms or developing a healthier relationship with food.

    Here's what you can expect:

    • A personalized, evidence-based approach tailored to your needs

    • An initial session lasting 60-75 minutes. During this time, a dietitian from our team will guide you through a review of your health history and nutritional goals. They will then work with you to develop a sustainable plan tailored to fit your personal objectives.

    • 50 minute follow up appointments. You and your dietitian will review progress and collaborate on next steps.

Gut-directed hypnotherapy

Clinical hypnotherapy offers a personalized, evidence-based approach to alleviating digestive discomfort. Specializing in gut-directed hypnotherapy, Lauren Adler Dear, MS, RDN, uses proven techniques to help clients manage digestive symptoms such as bloating, pain, and other gastrointestinal symptoms.

This is available as an adjunct therapy in addition to working with a dietitian on our team or elsewhere.

  • The session begins with a comprehensive assessment of your gastrointestinal condition, symptoms, and how they impact your daily life. Lauren will then guide you through a calming, focused hypnotherapy experience. Using positive suggestions and imagery, she will help address underlying stress, emotional triggers, and patterns that may be influencing your digestive health. In the relaxed state of hypnosis, your subconscious mind becomes more receptive to healing messages, allowing you to integrate these positive changes into your everyday life.

  • After completing both basic and advanced hypnotherapy training at Boston Behavioral Medicine in 2016, Lauren has successfully integrated these therapeutic methods into her practice, helping clients reduce stress and improve digestive function through tailored hypnosis sessions.
